The European Defence Innovation Days are coming up for a new appointment on Wednesday, 31 May and Thursday, 1 June 2023 in Brussels.
FlySight had already proudly participated in its debut last year. This year, the second edition of the event organised by EDA (European Defence Agency) is renewed in an even more consolidated way, focusing on the challenges and opportunities to connect technological innovations and capacity development.
FlySight will be at its booth n.39, next to the area of Italian representatives.
Our focus at the booth will be mainly two:
• OPENSIGHT mission console, specifically designed to support payload operators in airborne scenarios, with the aim to conduct the mission more smoothly and efficiently. The FlySIght Augmented Reality engine, capable of handling multiple high resolution video flows, improving the geospatial situational awareness of the operator by the superposition of multiple synthetic information layers. So, no need to switch to the moving map anymore: all the information is displayed directly over the video for a better mission effectiveness.
• 5GMASS project, where we are a partner and OPENSIGHT is used for port traffic monitoring, advanced ship localization, assisted berthing and immersive ship maneuvering.
The European Defence Innovation Days will bring together Universities and innovative companies from all across the Europe in an exhibition area and in a conference that will explore topics of excellence in innovation in the Defence sector.
During the afternoon of the first day, 31 May, starting at 13.30, technical talks will be held: the companies present will have the opportunity to present their contribution.
Our CTO Andrea Masini will take the opportunity to highlight the innovative contribution of OPENSIGHT mission console, with a presentation entitled: “OPENSIGHT-mc: the decision support system for cognitive enhancement”.
