The year 2024 holds a lot of significant engagements and events on our horizon.
Among these, the OPTRO 2024 Symposium in Bordeaux, France, from January 23rd to 25th, takes center stage closer. We are excited to participate in this prestigious symposium with two compelling talks from the Research and Development team at FlySight:
– On Day 2, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, during Session on Signal and Image Processing – the presentation titled “HArDFormer: Advancing Dehazing and Artefact Reduction through Transformer-based Image Restoration“. This presentation, authored from our R&D dep. by Antonio Di Tommaso, Niccolò Camarlinghi, Giacomo Fontanelli, Benedetto Michelozzi, Andrea Masini, promises insights into cutting-edge image restoration techniques.
– Following that, on Day 3, Thursday, January 25, 2024, during Session on Air, Land, Sea, and Homeland Defense Applications, a second presentation titled “Real-time Wide-area Motion Imagery on the Edge Using a Single Optronic Sensor“. This presentation, authored by Niccolò Camarlinghi, François Villemin, Antonio Di Tommaso, Giacomo Fontanelli, Benedetto Michelozzi, Andrea Masini, promises insights into revolutionary defense applications.
Our calendar isn’t confined to scientific endeavors alone. We have significant international showcases lined up as well. In February, we’ll be present at the Singapore Airshow from the 20th to the 25th. The following week, we’ll continue networking in California at the HAI Heli-Expo, engaging with the airborne world. Then, from the 27th to the 29th, we’ll be attending the International Military Helicopter event in London. These engagements mark crucial opportunities for collaboration and advancement in avionic, civil and military industry.
These are just the primary milestones we anticipate before returning to Farnborough Airshow and continue the plans of the months ahead. The year 2024 is brimming with opportunities for learning, collaboration, and groundbreaking advancements across various operational scenarious and various domains, Air, Land, Maritime and we’re thrilled to be at the forefront of these endeavors.
